According to the Miami Herald, Heat center Alonzo Mourning has told some Heat people recently not to count him out. He hasn't decided whether to eschew retirement and play next season after knee surgery. Mourning tore the patella tendon and quadriceps muscle in his right leg on Dec. 19 and is out for the season.
