For the first time in his NBA career, Nenad Krstic averaged under 10 points during the 2007-08 regular season. He managed just 6.6 points in 45 appearances after missing much of the season with a knee injury. He averaged just 18.0 minutes. Krstic averaged just over four points in the first month of the regular season when it became clear he hadn't yet recovered from the knee surgery that sidelined him for the majority of the 2006-07 season. He then returned in February, but it took him a month to get back to being able to play over 15 minutes per game. (Updated 04/24/2008).

Fantasy Analysis
In the final two months of the season, he averaged just under 10 points with four boards per game, splitting time with Josh Boone and Sean Williams. He won't be eligible at center entering next season as he made all his starts this season at power forward and is a lot less valuable at forward then he was as a No. 2 center. He'll probably be used as a power forward again next season and will be unlikely to regain center eligibility. For that reason, his stock in Fantasy drafts will fall to that of a late-round pick. There, he may become a sleeper as he could return to around 15 points and seven rebounds. That's the type of production he had in 26 games before getting hurt in 2006-07. (Updated 04/24/2008).
