LHP Wandy Rodriguez (left groin) went on the 15-day disabled list April 20. He felt some minor pain in his left leg during an April 30 bullpen session. He threw two bullpen sessions in early May and a pain-free bullpen session on May 10. He's scheduled to throw a simulated game on May 13.
RHP Felipe Paulino (pinched nerve in upper arm) opened the season on the 15-day disabled list. He was shut down from throwing for at least a month on April 7, and he is likely to miss half the season.

How long do we keep throwing this guy out there? I love his speed, and his defense is a blessing in centerfield. However, his .190 batting average is really starting to hurt. Instead of setting the table, he seems to be striking out way too much for a leadoff hitter. And other times, he seems to be flying out, which makes no sense for a guy who has the speed to beat out ground-balls.

I'm happy that we only have two more late games on the west coast left this season. I'm tired of having to stay up past midnight to see the end of the game. At least we got the whole west coast 9:30 start times out of the way early. Now I'm looking forward to beating on the Rangers pitching staff this weekend!
