The Sports Xchange notes that after stating earlier in the week that DH Jim Thome would start one of the interleague games in San Francisco at first base, White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen and his coaching staff have changed their minds. "Right now, I'm not going to play him," Guillen said Thursday. "Last year we did and then he lost a couple of games because he was sore. He lost a couple of games because playing in the field was tough. I talked to him and hopefully we'll get him one bat here and there. Maybe if things go a certain way I will change my mind, but right now I don't want to use him." Paul Konerko should get all three starts at first base during the series. (Updated 05/16/2008).
