Nats bring Zimmerman off 15-day DL: The Nationals activated third baseman Ryan Zimmerman from the 15-day DL on Tuesday. He is recovering from a small labral tear in his left (non-throwing) shoulder. He started against the Giants and has a single in three at-bats. He also walked twice. (Updated 07/22/2008).

Fantasy Analysis
We are not convinced Zimmerman will be his true self in the second half, but his talent and potential makes him a flier worth taking in most leagues immediately. Shoulder injuries notoriously sap a slugger's power, but you would figure the Nationals wouldn't bring him off the DL if there was any way he wasn't healthy and ready to go. (Updated 07/22/2008).
The Nationals reinstated Zimmerman from the disabled list and his rehab assignment with Triple-A Columbus on Tuesday. (Updated 07/22/2008)
Advice
He had been sidelined since June 3, retroactive to May 26, with a small tear of the labrum in his left shoulder. Zimmerman was in the lineup and batting third.
