Volquez threw one inning of work in Tuesday's All-Star Game and it wasn't his best outing of the season. Volquez gave up two hits and two runs, though he did strike out two. Because he went only one inning, he should be fresh enough to start in Saturday's game against Oliver Perez. If he doesn't go Saturday then Sunday will more than likely be his day.
