Penn has sore shoulder: The Baltimore Sun reports that Hayden Penn left Monday's game at Triple-A Norfolk after just one inning because of some discomfort in his right shoulder. The Orioles' director of player development Dave Stockstill said Penn felt "a little something" on one pitch, but wanted to continue. He was taken out as a precaution. "We'll know more in a day or two," Stockstill said. (Updated 05/26/2008).

Penn is still an intriguing sleeper in all AL-only and long-term keeper leagues. The O's might not make him a .500 pitcher, but he is talented enough to still help Fantasy teams later this year. (Updated 05/26/2008).
