Struggling Proctor lands on DL: Los Angeles Dodgers reliever Scott Proctor was placed on the 15-day disabled list Wednesday by the Los Angeles Dodgers with an ailing right elbow. The team originally announced that they were going to option Proctor to Triple-A Las Vegas, but then switched to the DL when it was revealed Proctor was injured. "Having a little history with Scott Proctor, knowing that the guy I was watching was not really what you've seen before and knowing that he would never acknowledge that anything was wrong, you can't just all of a sudden say there's something wrong. So we were going to option him," manager Joe Torre said. The Dodgers recalled right-hander Brian Falkenborg from Triple-A to replace Proctor and moved backup catcher Gary Bennett from the 15-day disabled list to the 60-day DL to open a spot for Falkenborg on the 40-man roster.
