Rays add Gomes for bench depth: With Triple-A Durham bowing out of the International League playoffs Friday night, the Rays announced they were selecting David Price and recalling outfielder Jonny Gomes and right-handers Mitch Talbot and Jeff Niemann. Gomes and Price will report to the Rays on Saturday; Talbot and Niemann will join the Rays in St. Petersburg on Monday.
