Gagne will work in middle relief: The Brewers activated RP Eric Gagne from the 15-day disabled list on Monday and optioned righty Mark DiFelice to Triple-A Nashville. Gagne had been out since May 23 because of right rotator cuff tendinitis. Gagne, who won the 2003 NL Cy Young Award with the Los Angeles Dodgers, is 1-2 with a 6.98 ERA.
