Fantasy Analysis
Hawpe is off to a great start in May after seeing his average dip to .239 at the end of April. It's already up to .269 and it is no surprise that it has come while the Rockies have been at home. Hawpe is a player that thrives at Coors Field and struggles on the road. He is still worth starting in most mixed leagues as a No. 3 Fantasy OF, but when the Rockies have a full week of home games, that's when you really want to keep him active. (Updated 05/06/2008).
Hawpe drove in two runs to help the visiting Rockies to a 4-2 win over San Diego on Friday, sending the Padres to their 18th loss in 22 games. (Updated 05/10/2008)
