Fantasy Analysis
Halladay (4-5) has been the victim of poor run support all season, getting only 3.14 runs per outing entering Wednesday. He got run support early, but since he didn't know what to do with it, he looked lost on the mound. He recovered and still managed to win for the second time in three starts. Halladay has allowed four runs in each of his last two outings, but it is nothing to fret about. The right-hander is still Cy Young material and a must-start Fantasy SP. His next scheduled start is for Tuesday against the Angels. He is on track to be a two-start pitcher Fantasy Week 8 (May 19-25) with his second start coming against the Royals. Both starts are at home where he is 2-1 with a 3.33 ERA. (Updated 05/15/2008).
Halladay gave up four runs and six hits in the visiting Blue Jays' 6-1 loss to Cleveland on Friday. (Updated 05/10/2008)
Advice
Halladay lost for the fourth time in five starts and fell to 5-1 in his career against Cleveland. The right-hander had a season-high nine strikeouts, but they came in his shortest outing. He had pitched at least seven innings in all seven of his starts. Halladay is just 3-5 with a 3.29 ERA this season.
