Hoey's season done after surgery: Jim Hoey, who pitched in 23 games for Baltimore last year, will miss the rest of the season following shoulder surgery. "He's another power arm in this organization. He's still young enough. Get it taken care of and let's get him ready for next year," manager Dave Trembley said Wednesday. "It's unfortunate that it happened, but I'm sure it's a lot better for Jim.
