My anger is at the TV station who aired the teacher's violation of privacy laws in order to boost ratings, and only peripherally at those who help spread the speculation. Since when is a former teacher (happen to be one myself) an authority to be quoted on whether or not the NCAA clearinghouse report needs to be retroactively amended? The teacher's retirement benefits should be rescinded, the principal was already fired for similar violations of his duty, the coach may get away clean again, but maybe not.
You say, "dolphinollie only posted a thread about college basketball in a time when there isn't many. ''
That isn't the only thing he did. He also put a title on the thread. Tell me he was only trying to entertain the poor masses starving for anything on college basketball.

Come on KU62. He just started a thread about what was relevant in college basketball. If you don't agree, take it up with ESPN and their shows including Pardon the Interruption.
It's ok to talk about things that aren't absolutely glowing about your program. They may or may not be valid, but the story does exist. Don't call him names because of it.

Wow turd! you are a teacher? Then you should know you have to put a title to create a tread.
That isn't the only thing he did. He also put a title on the thread. Tell me he was only trying to entertain the poor masses starving for anything on college basketball.

- ''... you should know you have to put a title to create a tread.''
You are now pretending the title you composed was innocuous?
- Find two keys farther apart on your keyboard than ? and !
- Pick a wrong letter in the first name that comes closer to a slur on intelligence.
- Choose a verb more incriminating than you used in your accusation.
Enlighten me please, so I won't continue to labor under the conception that you were being malicious, and now disingenuous. KU62, you can take your anger out on me if you like,I do like, and I try to furnish what is asked for. I'm not acquainted well enough to judge you, just your actions.
but it doesn't change the facts reported in black and white and by TV and now is a hot topic at ESPN.The "facts" are that the Dallas TV station assisted a disgruntled employee in violating state confidentiality laws, assuming his allegations are factual, and that other news outlets are reserving judgment while reporting on WTFF's 'investigative' reporting.
So F you and the horse you rode up on you turd.
Wow turd! you are a teacher?
Angry as I was/am, I didn't/won't stoop to name calling. I described your actions in an accurate, appropriate manner and conveyed my permission for you to continue in more of the same. If I am the angry one, why do you feel a need for the use of derogatory epithets?
I am retired, so you needn't stress that point.
... is a former teacher (happen to be one myself) an authority ...
I look forward to further discussion of our differing points of view.

That's why whistleblower laws are in place. To protect someone when they have the COURAGE to speak up. Are you sure it's a disgruntled employee? Could it possibly be that the teacher was tired of keeping it a secret. Could it be the teacher was still seeing it occuring, regardless of which school it occured, and felt that it is time to stop it. If you really believe that this is a case of someone out to submarine KU, then ask yourself this. Do you think, as an educated person (since you were a teacher,) that the teacher would recieve the maximum exposure and "hype" from the story airing now or early last month? Hmmm... let's think about that. I know, with my lowly associates degree, that if it were about harming KU or getting press the teacher would have blown up the story in the F4.
As a Tigers fan I am saying Kansas won the Title, the Tigers lost it. Kansas deserved to win the game. They won the Championship Now if this is true, regardless of whether the NC2A cleared him for admission, it is fraud. You are going to tell me as a former teacher that students didn't have an idea of what grade they were earning? They (the students), let alone anyone who's grades are borderline passing/failing, know their academic standing. To say that he had no idea is a farce. This, if it is true, means he enrolled fraudulently.
So does that mean the school/team should go unpunished? Obviously not. The school just as much as Arthur is responsible for this whole situation. Each individual school is final say for anyone enrolling, NOT the NC2A. The only thing the NC2A can rule on is the players eligibility. The school can admit whomever they want as long as they meet enrollment qualifications. The same applies to the offering of scholarships. So the school NOT the NC2A has the final say on enrollment.
What are some possible solutions to the whole mess? Maybe he (Arthur) should have to repay the school his scholarship and half the cost of all the forfeited games and half the cost of the revenue repaid to the school. Maybe the university should lose more scholarships. Maybe the banner should be removed and the Championship should be awarded to the *. Those are just a few of the possible solutions.
These are all possible theories. We live in a society where we are innocent until proven guilty. I am not saying he did those things. This is an explanation of the problem and solution from one COLLEGIATE ATHLETIC FAN. So KU62- there is a rational, educated statement to the whole situation. And your reply is.....?

MU fans are pathetic.
This incident happen in HIGH SCHOOL. Not while he was at KU. Yet all the Misery fans want to punish KU for something another school did.
That makes perfect logic.
The NCAA CLEARED him and made him ELIGIBLE to play.
Why don't the MU fans hold the NCAA responsible for that decision? Cause that would take away from their agenda of hating KU.
