I felt it was my duty as a human being to pass on some info that I read in the Journal of the American Medical Association.
"The Surgeon General has discovered the reason so many SEC supremacists have constipation AND explosive diarrhea. The root of the problem is that the brain of an SEC supremacist tells the rest of the body that the SEC's poop doesn't stink. The colon (which stores poop) has taken serious offense with the brain thinking this, as it knows first hand that EVERYONE'S poop stinks. Consequently, the colon has made a pact with the rectum to alternate between storing waste and causing constipation, and other times blasting out waste with uncontrollable force (also known as "explosive diarrhea).
Unless these people can get it into their brain that everyone's poop stinks, they will continue to experience these unfortunate symptoms."
The moral of the story:
On the thread I created regarding the SEC not being as deep in 2008, I had numerous "Supremacists" post trash about how stupid the thread was, and that fans outside the SEC are stupid for not realizing that it is the most dominant conference, blah, blah, blah. Basically the same/same we hear every day.
The PROBLEM is that I specifically stated that the SEC WAS still the top football conference in 2008. I simply don't think they will be as deep top to bottom as they were in 2007. You just can't take anything said by a fan of a non-SEC team without freaking out, even if part of what they are saying still includes the SEC as being the top conference.
So to all those SEC fans who are too proud to admit that like every other conference, the SEC has some middle of the road teams, and some crappy teams, enjoy the unstable bowels. Convince your brain that your poop stinks too, and it will go back to normal.
To all the great SEC fans like Big Dawgs, KNUT, TheGreek, and others who are able to have pride in their teams without needing to trash good teams outside the SEC (mostly OSU and the Big Ten of course), and can appreciate good football even if it's outside of the blessed SEC, please disregard.
