1) why do the Jazz own our second round pick? Did we include that in the Kyle Korver trade?
2) I really really think we should throw buckets of cash at Josh Smith. He is a stud that can complement Iggy well. Well, compliment each other.
Loius Williams
Andre Igoudala
Thaddues Young
Josh Smith
Samuel Dalembert
PRETTY SWEET
3) This one may not be to popular right now, but just like buying stocks buy low and sell High. Right now Andre Miller s stock is at his highest and I think we should deal him to get as much value as possible while freeing up playing time for Louis Williams (a true scorer).
One has to admit that the frequency in which Andre Miller was making that mid range jumper this year was way higher than we can expect from him in the future. This was shown in the last few games of the playoffs when he couldnt buy a bucket. Great guy great player, but I think the best thing for the team is to cash in on his great year
Thoughts?

I agree with you on Smith but that is about as far as i would go, i would try and trade Igg he is a good player but he doesn't deserve the money he wants, if he accepted what we offered him last year then bring him back but no more, and i wouldn't sign players around him but Smith is the perfect fit for the Sixers. 2nd if they trade Miller they go back to the lottery bottom line. Lou Williams is not a starter in the NBA and he never will be, he is awesome of the bench for about 20-25 minutes and brings instant offense kind of like the microwave Vinnie Johnson did for the Pistons but never ever will be a starter at least not for a playoff team.

Lou Williams is not a starter in the NBA and he never will beI dont know whitedog, I can certainly see Lou starting in the near future in the NBA. :He's only 21 years old and still has the potential to be much better than he already is. If you look at the development of most high schoolers that make the jump right to the NBA he is on track with most. Most guys, not named Kobe, Lebron, or KG, begin their career with 2 or 3 bad developmental type years. Then they have a decent 9-15 ppg for year or two and then they normally, burst onto the seen.
Guys like Jermaine O'Neal and Tracy McGrady and many other high schoolers began their career much like Lou did, so I dont see why he couldnt at least become a starter in the NBA.

I am torn on what the sixers should do. I think a front court of Thad, Sam, and Josh would be tremendously athletic but you got basically 2 small forwards. And what happens with Iggy then? He certainly cant fit in that equation, then we would have 3 small forwards, none of which realy that can shoot
From what I read Miller wont beback after this year, so I agree with whoever wrote that his trade value was at its highest. None of these players are Ed's players so we might see a lot of turnover this year. I think he has got his work cut out for him, even with all the money the sixers have finally gotten underneath the cap, theres not a great player out there thats going to be the piece you build your franchise around

I agree question that Lou will get better in the next few years and i think he can really help us in the future, but not as a starter he doesn't have the court vision to run the point and i don't think he will ever have it, he can push the ball drive to the hoop and hit a outside shot granted, but he is pretty bad on defense and doesn't have true PG skills and he is on the short side. all in all i didn't mean to bury Lou i just think he is much better suited as a change of style off the bench player.

I like igudola, but he has to go in order for thad to play the 3 and iggy can't play guard, can't shoot well enough. If they could get Josh Smith that would be great, but trade igudola to the Bucks for villenauva and you would have a lost post presence. Now bring in a top 2 guard with the cap money they have and you have a good starting 5. bench would be lou, j. smith, carney if he is still here and reggie reggie reggie.

They need an inside presence who can play the 4, but can stretch out the defense with his shot. The Pistons shut the Sixers down by collapsing their D because they didn't respect any of the Sixers big men's perimeter game.
They could also use a shooter to replace Korver...I like Josh Smith, but I don't think he is the answer to what the Sixers need. He would be another 3 guard, and the Sixers have used three recent first round picks at that position in Young, Carney, and Igudala.
