Kobe is a great player without a doubt but how are you going to bring up championships when he one all three with Shaq. After shaq left how many did he win? Now the Lakers are playing good again. and when did they start winning? They started winning when they traded for Pau Gasol. Kobe hasnt done anything without a good big man.
As for Pual finshing 2nd to Kobe on the all defensive team. He didnt they play two diffrent postions. Pual finshed 2nd to Bowen( only one on 1st team that plays Point somtimes)

Shmalzel, you need to learn some basic English.....Next, who cares that Kobe played with Shaq when he won 3 titles. Kobe was on the first All-NBA team for 2 of those. He avg'd 28 pts in the playoffs on the last 2 titles, and was the go-to guy in the clutch, since Shaq was a liability late in games. Remember Shaq had never won a title until Kobe was named a starter and blossomed into the best guard in the league....In fact Shaq was swept out of the playoffs 4 straight years until Kobe was made a starter.....So you're point about Kobe not winning a title "on his own" is moronic. That's like saying Magic's 5 rings don't count because he had Kareem and worthy and cooper. Bird's rings don't count because he had Mchale, Parrish and D.J. MJ's rings don't count because he had 2 H.O.Famers in Rodman and Pippen. No one wins rings on their own. Period.
Kobe was also the MVP of the Lakers 3 championship run, in the Western conference playoffs, which were the real finals since the East was always so bad. Shaq poured it on in the finals, against infrerior competition and won the finals mvp. But Kobe was the leader against the Spurs, Portland, Sac Kings. Check the stats.
Sorry N.O you can't rewrite history. Kobe is a 3-time champion, soon to be 4, and there's nothing you guys can do to change. paul is a very good little guard who's surrounded by much more talent than Kobe. But make no mistake about it, Kobe is the vastly superior player. Better offensively. Better defensively. Better in the clutch. Better period. That's why Kobe's the best player in the league, and Paul falls way, way, short.....DEAL WITH IT!!!

Pual has:
Chandler- An avarge center has had some big games but has also had slot of bad games
West- Had a breakout year and is looking like he is going to be a good player
Peja- Is a good shoter but thats about it
Peterson- needs to be replaced
Kobe has:
Bynum- was playing at all star level before he got hurt
Gasol- domoinate big bad
Odem- another all star caliber plaer
fisher- is a preety good point gaurd
not to mention how much better the Lakers bench is

Schmalzel, you really need to learn basic English....And for the record, Kobe is better than Stockton and Isiah. The only guard better than Kobe was MJ, and Kobe still has a chance at equaling and even surpassing his accomplishments.....And Saints fan, Paul does have more talent to work with, that what Kobe does.
West is an allstar. Stojokovic was an allstar, and Chandler is a great rebounder, defender and shoots over 60 pct from the floor. Kobe has no allstars on his team. Gasol is a former allstar, but hasn't been in year. Bynum's out and Odom is inconsistent. Plus, NO's has the better bench.I'd take Pargo and Wells over Walton and Sasha any day.
It's amazing that Kobe's taken these guys so far, and is actually going to win an NBA title with these guys. At that point, they'll have to put him on the same level as MJ. Don't you think?

I just love hearing you go on just to hear how much you don't know. Its great. So far lets go on with what we have. (You haven't explained how I don't know basic English Kudos Sman) Now you say the Hornets have a better bench do you just pay attention go KOBE or do you actually watch basketball in general? 3rd WORST bench in the league. Not for nothing but our bench sucks. Has sucked will suck and Mo Pete isn't helping out whether he gets more minutes or less minutes (as he is coming off the bench) Just sucks... they rely on their 4 best players and Pargo coming off the bench who has been bad this series. The Laker's have depth off the bench. Well guess I'm teaching you more about your team then you actually know. But hey I see your rep is going up due to so many responses on your absurd threads. I try and think you aren't that stupid and you just want replies to get your rep up. But then again I have been wrong before.

Do you even watch and understand basketball? According to almost every NBA expert, they have picked LA to win the title because of their overall talent and depth of their bench. You must be smarter than everyone who gets paid to analyze the NBA. Get a clue and your lips off Kobe's D!ck.
