There was a rumor going around the internet over the last few days that Devin Ebanks had trimmed his list down to West Virginia and Memphis. I haven't mentioned anything until now, because I wanted to confirm it.
It turns out that the rumors are 100% false. This rumor was started by a beat writer in West Virginia, and it can be attributed to wishful thinking and nothing else. According to Adam Zagoria, Devin's AAU coach had this to say on the subject:
"False," McGugins wrote in an email message in reference to the Internet report. "Dev never wrote anything."In other news, Ebanks has announced that he will not come to a decision until after his graduation on May 18. He says he will announce shortly thereafter, but we've seen over the last month or so how that story goes. Realistically, I'd expect a decision on or around May 25th.
