It's not a new fact that the Jazz are awesome at home. They can take their home games we will take ours - done deal (as long as Kobe's back is ok).

I wouldn't say all the pressure is on the Jazz gambit I think come game 5 just about all the pressure is on the Lakers. It really is a must win for them the Jazz must win game is game 6 one way or the other. If they win game 5 I still say game 6 is a must win because they are not going to win 2 in Staples. If the Lakers lose game 5 however it may be game over.

Our Lakers just need to pull their heads out of the behinds and start playing the way they did when they hadn't lost in a month.  Why wont P.J. let Ira Newble get in there and try  to play a little defense?  I thought that was the whole great thing about the dude was his defense?  Well guess what we need defense... unless we want to let the Jazz continue to have easy buckets.

Its a suprise to me, in actuallity this series should have been over or 3-1 right now, both games we had oppurtunities to win, Luke Walton's TO gave us in Game 3, our lack of execution in OT in Game 4. Regardless of this, Utah who is a supposed juggernaut at home escaped 2 narrow loses.  I'm confident this series will be over in 6 and we will beat them in Utah for the clincher.

I have to disagree with you, Mac. It is a huge surprise that Lakers lost 2 in a row to Utah. Granted, they lost at Jazz home, but 2 in a row? I am very surprised by Lakers lack of killer instinct. In game 1 & 2, they should have blown Jazz out with one more decisive run. Instead, they let them hang around until the end of the game. The two losses in Utah were similar. Lakers made an admirable comeback and are just one run away from pulling off a win. Instead, they choked.

Kobe has to play better toward the end. He's got a lot of turnover toward the end of the 2 defeats. Lakers need to win game 5! Game 6 is definitely not going to be easy, but if we won game 5, then all the momentum is on our side and pressure is on them. If we lost game 5, it'd be very difficult to win game 6 given the fact that we can't even beat them when we have no pressure on us.

Like a few other guys already said, I too am somewhat surprised we are at 2-2 right now.  I kind of expected a loss in Game 3, and I was surprised when we had a chance to come back at the end.  Game 4 was more of the same.  There were some bad calls and we let the referees get in our heads.  We stopped executing and stopped moving the ball.  Once we got to OT it just wasn't gonna happen.  We should be at 3-1 but we still have home court advantage and that should go a long way in this series.  That being said I still think we take it in 6

THE Jazz DIDN'T WIN BUT THEY COVERED THE POINTSPREAD PLUS 9 AND HALF Lakers WON BY 7-and that's all that matters for high rollers-I will take the mortgage money and run to the bank-i will wait for the FINALS and kick back.

I thought we were going to sweep Utah as well, but I guess I'm just a homer.  Oh well... GO Lakers!!!!
