I was born in 1980 so I have three decades of New York Rangers experience!!!
1980s...Darren Turcotte followed up by Brian Leetch
1990s...Sergei Zubov followed up by Tony Amonte
2000s...Jed Ortmeyer followed up by Brandon Dubinsky (Pretty sure Duber will be #1 shortly)
So include the year you were born and then give me your favorite players of the decade...
born is 82 but didn't really start following until the 90's
90's - Adam Graves! (clear #1) followed by Mike Gartner early 90's and Ulf Samuelsson in the late 90's
Nils - early 2000's - No one - painful team to watch, haha - overpaid over aged- Maybe Favorite was Kovalev - but all I could really remember of him is nasty speed, awesome slap shot - never could finish a play and put the puck in the net with the Rangers.
Present - Tie between Dubie and Callahan - If I had to pick a Jersey - I think I'm going with Callahan cause I love the road less traveled! Love his heart and intensity!!!
I was born in 1985 so I dont recall about Rangers hockey in that time. However, for me the 90s are an easy choice with Graves being my number one and Leetch, and Richter coming in a close second. As for the 2000s I would need to say that it is close between Henrik and Jagr with Prucha and Callahan not far behind. Also I cant forget Eric Lindros (just kidding lol).
