Didn't think he'd make any all defensive team since he plays pretty poor defense, other than going for steals. He can't really d a man up, lock a guy down, but I guess the voters were impressed by his steals. Iverson led the league in steals numerous times, and he's a pretty lousy defender like Paul. Oh well, I guess Paul was 2nd fiddle to Kobe again, who was the number 1 vote getter for first team all-defense. So let's see, Paul will come 2nd to Kobe in MVP voting, defensive team, 2nd in the west regular season, and soon 2nd in the West playoffs when L.A and Kobe knock N.O out of the playoffs (if S.A doesn't do it first.)
I guess Kobe owns Paul. I guess one would have to say, that Paul is Kobe's little biiiaaatch.

do you have a problem with Paul coming in second place? Coming in second out of 150 starters in the league is pretty damn awesome. how about you piss on the other 148 players that didn't do as well as Kobe.
Also, you probably have never watched a Hornets game before because CP3 didn't make 2nd team all defensive team no reason. Idc if he's 6 feet tall, he's a really good defender. so what if Kobe is better than him. he's better than all the other players in the league. So go masturbait to Kobe Bryant and his MVP trophy and get the hell off of our board.
And your welcome for Kobe Bryant.

Sorry lsu tiger, I didn't mean to upset you by putting Paul down. Congrats paul coming in second place to Kobe across the board. Nothing wrong with being number 2. Not everyone can be MJ or Kobe. Winners. Champions. The best. Enjoy #2

Sman, you are officially retarded.
Lets assume your smarter than all the voters out there and that Paul doesn't deserve second team all-d and got it based on stats. Wait thats impossible because your a homer coming to gloat because Kobe won a lifetime-acheivement-award NOT AN MVP. If your gonna say they were biased for Paul then you have to say the same for Kobe and even more so.
CP is an excellent defender as is Kobe but as a typical homer you come out talking outta your ass. Save yourself the ridicule and never, ever, ever, ever put MJ and Kobe in the same sentence. Jordan completely revolutionalized the way the game is played, was superb in every facet of the game, and won 6 championships along with his many other awards. (and he retired in the middle)
Kobe can put up some pretty spectacular numbers scoring wise, but he is a selfish player. Kobe could care less about team success the only reason that he pretends to care is because he has realized that he wont get his personal awards (LIKE MVP) by praising his teammates.
Want an example??? Lets see.. Oh yeah it was Sunday when the game was on the line and Ko-Me takes shot after shot. This is after we were fed all day long on Kobe doing monologues to the camera about how "his teammates got him this" etc. Kobe is the ultimate "me" player. C'mon he asked to be traded before the season and now your all over his nuts just cuz you got a complete steal in Gasol??
Have some self respect and stop jumping on band wagons; there were no taunts coming from Lakers fans before the season.
As for second fiddle... lol. This is Pauls 3rd season and Kobes what 10th? And CP shoulda won it anyway. Don't talk crap man because CP is MUCH farther along than Kobe was at this point in his career.

By the time Kobe was Pauls age he had won 3 nba championships. Just don't think Paul's a winner or a champion like Kobe and MJ. But like your lsu tiger buddy said, nothing wrong with coming in second. Someone has to come in 2nd, why not Paul. He seems to be really good at it.

By the time each player was 23, they accomplished:
Kobe - 2 NBA championships (won his 3rd when he was 24), 3 All-Star appearances (2 MVPs), 1 3rd All-NBA appearance, 2 2nd All-NBA appearances, 1 1st All-Defense selection, 1 2nd All defense selection, slam dunk champion, All rookie 2nd team (5 years in the league)
Paul - 1 All Star Appearance, 1 All-NBA team, 1 2nd team all defense, Rookie of the year, All rookie 1st team (3 years)
Through 3 years, Kobe had 1 All-Star Appearance, 1 3rd team All NBA appearance, All rookie 2nd team, Slam Dunk
While you can manipulate it based on age, I can easily turn it around to what they accomplished based on # of years as a pro.
