just watching a depressing doubleheader, where the Blue Jays have already wasted a good outing from burnett, and was noticing how the jays have only scored one run in close to forty innings and none in almost thirty.

Trust me when I say your not the only person who's noticed...This is fricking pathetic! 4 fricking runs in 36 innings. As Chuck would say, GET OUT THE SALAMI AND CHEESE MOMMA, this season is over! (Unless they develop an offense)

At this rate, Vernon Wells will still be leading the team in RBI's when he comes off the DL in July.

Would the MLB frown on the idea of allowing one team to hit off of a tee on offense?

... Would it even make a difference?

Yes I too, watched a 6 hour HD snoozefest.  As nice as it is to see the Jays pitching rounding into form.  36 innings???  Come on.   Does anyone know if the Jays are actively seeking additional bats?  With this pitching rotation; which I have heard American broadcasters say may be the best in the AL( MLB.TV);  wouldn't this be a good year to go for it??  If it is not already too late.

I dont know about Bonds,  but there are other big bats out there being shopped around.

Just the opposite, JP has said that he is happy with his team at this point and will not seek any more moves.  (I guess he is the only one)

I think is the Jays offense continues to struggle, specifically its numbers with RISP, JP's hand will be forced to make a move to try and save his job.

I personally hope it doesnt come to that because we all know moves done to save someone's job are almost never good for the team in the long run...

Would he be dumb enough to part with Marcum or McGowan for a bat?

This Jays fan sure hopes not.
