Without question Corey Maggette is going to be out of LA he wants out they want him out. What about him signing with the Heat he scored 22 ppg last year. Moving Marion to the PF spot. it would be sort of like the Suns with marion

PF Shawn Marion
SF.Cory Maggette(An upgrade from Grant Hill)
SG.Dwayne Wade(Definitly an upgrade over Raja Bell)
PG.Derrick Rose(if we get him he could be like a Nash except bigger faster, stronger better defender, but his not half the shooter nash is)

Maggette or brand would be a good fit. If they get Elton then marion plays SF. If they get cory marion plays PF.
Then if they got either one they could trade haslem and wright for a solid defensive center

If we can get brand or corey than maybe we trade haslem and wright for Ben Wallace to play Center. if we have rose, wade, marion, and brand/maggette than we dont need another scorer just a rebonder and defender.

Hell no we dont want Ben Wallace no offense at all. We need a center that can score. Haslem is good don't trade him. He can score and rebound as good as anyone in the league. But Brand or Corey would be a big lift for this team. But If we get Rose we could be a contender. The defense just needs to step up next year and we should be fine. With a healthy team watch out for the Heat.

We don't need a scoring C if we have those 4 guys wo can score 20 on any given night u can't deni he is a good defender.
With Rose, maggette/Brand, Wade, marion we dont need another scorer

I actually like the lineup like that with Barron in there, i think that it could be his time to shine if given the chance.Im all for this lineup.

Corey Maggette is another guy the Heat have been trying to get for the last couple of year... Maybe this off-season they pursue him a little harder than they have in the past, and just maybe successfully bring him to miami.
But I think Corey is no longer atop the list the Heat have with regards to FA's they want to sign. That said, I am sure he will be among the many complimentary players Riley wants to bring in to play along side Dwyane Wade, Shawn Marion and hopefully Derrick Rose.
I know the Heat have plans to sign some big named free agents this offseason, I just dont think Corey is that guy, but again, that is not to say he will not be apart of our plans this coming season.

Marion is comming back for sure. it's the year after we r not sure about.

I see the Heat keeping a couple of guys on the current roster for next season. Unfortunately, according to reports I have been reading, Dorrell Wright as apart of those plans, and I guess it was to be expected once Spoelstra was named the HC of the heat since he has worked closely with the guy in summer league and practice and what not since he got drafted.
I hope through the draft we are able to get Derrick Rose, for me that would make up for keeping Wright on the roster.

I honestly think it will be similar to last season in the sense that we did not go after the biggest of names in the market due to the amount of money they were asking for-- Yes, we have the money to sign the best of players but I just don't think that is the direction Riles will go... He will go after the players he thinks best fit the system the team is going to play next season, and that will all star after the draft... What they are able to do in the draft will dictate in what direction the team will go in the FA Market.
But I would sure like to see Corey Maggette in a Heat uniform... He can be a quality- complimentary player to this team.

See this is what makes it difficult for me to answer this question-- I honestly think that a lot of the guys on the current roster along with one or two guys we brought in from the D-League last season-- Can make us a competative, playoff-caliber team... That's why I want to see who we select in the draft before I can throw out a name of a player that I would like to see in a Heat uniform.
Maybe Corey Maggette, Keyon Dooling, Elton Brand... just to name a few.

PAOLO u have been all for Rose as have I, but if we get him don't u think that will diminish Wade's role since he is really like the PG since he usually brings the ball up, especially in crunch time in the forth. If rose is like paul wade is not an outside shooter so I just don't think he will get enough touches.

If Rose is anything like Chris Paul, Wade won't need many touches.
