	I have the great honor of having lunch with Quinn Buckner tomorrow at lunch. He is speaking to a group up in Elkhart and it is my assignment to be his host and have lunch with him before he speaks. I look forward to asking him a number of questions. But I thought my fellow IU Basketball fanatics would have some questions too. What questions would you recommend I ask Quinn?

	Cricket, I asked if his uniform still fit. He had a good laugh at that one. I also asked him what his thoughts of Tom Crean were. While he does not know Crean personally, he was confident that Crean would build back the program, but it would take a few years. He talked mostly about what he learned playing. He talked about Larry Bird and his focus on winning.

	I guess since he is an analyst for the Indiana Pacers, you could ask him this: Do you feel like the Pacers need to clean up their image by dealing Tinsley, O'Neal, Harrison, Williams, or any other person who has had some character issues or run-ins with the law? I, like many other Hoosiers would like to be able to support our professional basketball team.

	IUFAN, I asked Quinn about the legal issues with several Pacer players. He agreed that the Pacers will need to sort out the players who cannot control themselves. Quinn is also employed by the Pacers, so his answers regarding the Pacers were more canned. But he sees the Pacers getting good again. He didn't say how!

	Well...aparently it's a little too late...but I would have asked him..."how the hell could you just stand by with no apparent reaction, to the very fact that one of your most beloved teamates (Scott May) .... so easily just allows his son to commit to the mortal enemy of IU-(North Carolina), while IU slides into mediocrity....all the while Scott wears his UNC appearal...so very proud....That is would I would ask him...but then again...maybe I'm a little too hardcore.

	Good question dale. I would have been a little more upset had May committed to Kentucky or Duke. We have been really thin in the post and May would have really beefed us up, literally.
