Hey Remember when morons would claim that PED's couldnt help a pitcher.

Seems as if Mr Gagne was a star when allowed to juice up and then he coincidentally had a string of bad luck after he stopped juicing with those "worthless" PED's.

They should bar him from the game and strip him of all his stats.

Seems as if everyone in this post wants to blame steriods.  Remember he had tommy john surgery and lost some of the velocity on his fastball.  I'm not saying that is the reason, but i am also saying it is not strictly because of steroids.

I am glad to see this, I feel Riske should be our closer of the future

"Yost and the coaching staff know what's going on but are not revealing the details"...I think we all know what is needed here.  Pull him for a few weeks and get him back on the Juice.  He should be effective after about 4 weeks, then roaring into the play-offs like the super-human he was a few years ago.

Surgery isn't an excuse either.

He was having a great comeback year with the Rangers before being shipped off to Boston.

Closers are all about confidence bordering on cockiness.... he no longer has that. He faced pressure for the first time in Boston and choked badly.

Remember when Lidge was lights out with Houston? Then Pujols launches a ball in to outer orbit and he was never the same again. But he is doing great this year, took him 4 years to get over it though.

Gagne will eventually get out of his funk, may take a while though.
