In 2008

1. Bob Sanders - I'm just looking for the best combinations of teams and safeties in the league and this is the league's best safety on one of the top 3 teams in the league that is going to be better this year, barring injuries this man will be 2008's most dominant safety

2. Ed Reed - the Ravens are having a helluvan offseason learning from new coaches and new playbooks but this should really help Reed continue his strong leadership of the team and he will play lights out this year and be 2008's 2nd most dominant safety

3. Darren Sharper - the interception king will thrive again behind Jared Allen and on the league's best run defense, the Vikings have not been great in a while but this man continues to dominate all by himself and now with Allen, Madieu Williams, and Peterson he will be 2008's 3rd most dominant safety

4. Troy Polamalu - the Steelers offense is moving away from its conservative tradition and is evolving into one of the league's most explosive and this is going to help the whole team, the Steelers will have to go all out on the league's hardest schedule and we shall see exactly what Polamalu is capable of and that is being 2008's 4th most dominant safety

5. LaRon Landry - he immediately solidified himself as one of the league's best in his rookie year and should have been a part of the league's best safety tandem, with a more explosive offense to take pressure off the defense he will be 2008s 5th most dominant safety
