i'm reaching out to my fellow knick fans and begging you to just let this crazy rebuilding tenure take it's course as we all have been suffering for a long time hoping to get back to respectability..i was driving to a family function with my wife yesterday when i got a text on my phone saying that dantoni had accepted the Knicks offer to become coach and i instantly began fuming because i didn't want him as a coach and i was adamant about i wanted no part of him and as i was venting to my wife and calling a few friends i starting to think differently and ask my self a few simple questions
1.why was i so enamored with mark jackson?he played for the knicks and all along they kept mentioning his name as the top guy(but he really wasn't)and truthfully i'm not sure if he needs to inherit the mess that's been created here with the knicks to be his first gig it wouldn't be fair that he get killed for them not winning when they haven't done so for years...
2.do i really have a right to be against dantoni?i'm not so sure of the answer but i can say i'd enjoy seeing the knicks be exciting to finally really wanna get home to see the game and not just watch it knowing they are gonna quit and get blown out.
3.do i believe we will get better?in the future the answer is no doubt yes but here is what i do know..the knicks are in for one hell of a make over because our roster doesn't fit dantoni's system so i will sit back with an open mind and try and enjoy what should be a wild offseason and hopefully it starts of right on 5-20-08 with 1 of the top two picks in the draft...i make get killed for this thread but i felt the need to say my peace so here's to rebuilding...
