8 or 16 game playoff. 8 take the 6 BCS champs and pick the best two non-bcs champs. How to pick them? Have a selection committee who actually watches these teams play rather than these stupid polls.
16 - All conference champs, remaining slots for at large teams, again determined by an NCAA selection committee, not polls.
As one poster said 16 out of 120 teams is not unreasonable. And if you're that much better than the non-BCS champs, then you should be able to strap on your helmet and kick the **** out of them like Georgia did, instead of trying to exclude because they're "unworthy." Anything less is not a true national championship, but a private athletic club tournament.
