"Valpo, huh? What ever happened to them, basketball-wise? They paved the way for all these current Gonzaga, Davidson, Butler types... what's the story?"
Homer Drew is still kickin it up there in Valpo with his team. The athletic program just switched from the midcon (now its named changed to something and I forget what it is) to the Horizon (Butler's conference). It was a big step up in competition if you ask me. They performed well in their first year and will continue to improve. Homer is a very nice and humble man. A couple of my law school friends and I got to run with the team everyone once in a while when they needed the numbers.
Study hard, but more importantly, study well!
