The adjustments Pop made were pretty cool.....

Putting Manu in the starting line up forced Paul & Parker to cancel each other out on the offensive & defensive sides of the Court.... since Paul could no longer gaurd the slower Michael Finley.... (Which was KILLING the Spurs)

Also having Manu on the court helped counter Peterson who Finley couldn't gaurd to save his life... Peterson really made Finley look stupid, time & time again... Manu even with a bad ankle & reportedly at only 80% helped even things up with Peterson...

I think the biggest thing is putting Bowen on Peja... Other than Peja's one Three Pointer in Transition (which was Manu's Fault) Bowen did one hell of a job... The question will be if he can keep it up...

Also having Manu back up Tony was awesome.... CP3 was punking Vaughn.... Vaughn (in this series) was a pyss poor subsitute for Parker when Parker needed a breather...

Having Finley & Barry back up Manu so Manu could back up Parker was freakin Awesome!!!! It allowed Parker to rest while Manu stayed on & if Parker came back & Manu needed a rest, Finley or Barry came in for a while...

The New Orleans adjustments will be interesting... that's the cool part about a 7 game series... watching the Coaches from every team work their Magic...<!-- / message -->

Pumchavas

Yes, I don't think the switch to guarding Peja from Bruce Bowen is getting enough applause.

Coach Pop pulled off another brilliant move.  Let CP3 score as many as he likes...he just isnt going to find an open Peja.

Finally, the Spurs were able to make CP3 a scorer and not a two-headed nightmare.

The supporting cast of New Orleans looked dis-interested as a result.

..............

The problem is that Coach Byron Scott is no stubborn Mike D'Antoni.

It was only one game.

Coach Scott will counter somehow in game 4, so Pop better have a back-up plan as well.

After Game 2... It seems like Scott was just as stubborn as D'Antoni... then again Pop didn't change much in the 1st 2 games either...

Game 5 is HUGE!!!!!!!!!

While the Hornets are absolutly nothing like the Pistons... I have that same feeling going into Game 5, that I had back in 2005 against the Pistons...

That Big Game Feeling.... It was good to see Duncan 100% healthy (at least that is what it looked like)... If Duncan is 100% & Pop can keep the team focused & hungry... We could steal Game 5...

Man I'm already anxious, worried, excited & pumped about Game 5... It's going to be HUGE!!!!!!!!

Game 5 is the key game.

That little bit of doubt has creeped into the young Hornets collective heads.

They seem rattled and out of sorts just a teeny bit...but that might be all the Spurs need...

The Spurs are in for a real battle and tough game on the road.  Home court can change things right around for the Hornets.

But, game 5 is sitting there for the taking.

I don't think the Spurs can win a game 7 on the road, but there probably won't be a game 7 IF they can steal this one.

In all likelyhood, the winner of game 5 moves on to the WCF.

I think the Spurs can take game 7 on the road.  Don't get me wrong.  I think game 5 is very important, but the Spurs can withstand losing that game and still win this series.  New Orleans does not have the same luxury.  Pressure is on in the Big Easy.

Coach Pop is a genius! Look what he did in game 4.

He shortend up the rotation and kept  everybody fresh.

Every foul, time out, etc. Spurs players were rotating in and out of the game. I would have liked to see more of Brent Barry but, coach Pop knows what he's doing. Ime Udoka had a good game.

Pumchavas, As you mentioned, yet again, he put Bruce on Peja and they got great results. If we contain everyone except CP3, then this series is ours for the taking!

Can't wait for game 5!
