Seriously, that's going to be the only player that has any value when it's time for the Suns to pick. Suns have made some of the sorriest picks in the Draft. Example Zarko Caberckapa, Siergo Rodriguez, and Nate Robinson. We need a draft pick that will be the next great PG in Pheonix, might as well draft AZ PG Jarred Blayless. I don't know why you guys don't want him? He averaged 25ppg, 6apg. at Arizona, during his freshman year. He comes form one of the best basketball high schools in the country Mt. View. If Blayless falls in Pheonix's hands, they should take him. Now that Nash is getting up there in age.

First of all Bayless won't be around by the time Phoenix picks in the ist round. Second of all although he is very talented and should be a solid player in the NBA he is one dimensional he needs to improve going to the left, he needs to become more consistent not only from long range but also mid range jumper. His defense needs to be better as well. Finally i do like Bayless however i don't feel at least now he would be able to help Phoenix right away.. Phoenix needs consistent long range shooters and of course they need to become better defensively.

Second of all although he is very talented and should be a solid player in the NBA he is one dimensional he needs to improve going to the left, he needs to become more consistent not only from long range but also mid range jumper. His defense needs to be better as well.Bayless is an exceptional scorer at all three levels. He's unguardable against man-to-man coverage and gets better lift on his jumpshot than any player in the world. He shot 41% from three and 46% from the field while being double and triple-teamed for 3/5 of the season. What kind of consistency are you looking for?

Can't go left? Man, watch the games and stop depending on the media to form your opinion. His strength and balance is on par with guards like Wade, Billups, Davis and Arenas. It allows him to go left or right and finish against contact. He goes better to his right at the moment, but that doesn't mean he can't go left. Kevin O'Neill said that midway through the season in a poor attempt to plant a seed of reasoning for Bayless to consider returning for the next season, not because it's actually true.

His defense isn't as good as it's going to be, but it was by no means poor and was sometimes excellent. He has a lot of  defensive potential and would be an immediate upgrade from Nash in that regard.

Phoenix would be extremely lucky to land Bayless, but it won't happen at #15. He'll drop no lower than fifth, no matter which teams are slotted 1-5.

Your right, he does have an excelent display of atheletic ablility. He to me is comparible to Wade from the Heat. He's going to be fun to watch in the NBA.

The only way the Suns are getting Bayless is if they trade down to get him. No way he falls out of the top 5.

Russell Westbrook

Chris Douglas - Roberts

D.J. Augustin

Those are player we can land without making a move on draft day.

All are very solid players.

CDR and Augustin would just be offensive assets and not do much on defense. Therefore, both would be bad picks for the Suns.

Augustin would just be offensive assets and not do much on defense.

He can hold his own at the point. I've watched him man up on bigger guards like Mario Chalmers, Curtis Jerrells, and Chris Lofton (Last Year). I know what you mean about getting a defensive guy to replace Shawn Marion out on the perimeter, or a defensive post presense to pair with Amare and *Gulp* Shaq.

Brandon Rush?

Bill Walker?

Devon Jefferson?

Donte Green?

Darrell Arthur?

These players are on my list as well.

Harst I would like to know who you think the Suns could land in the draft. Or who you think they should go after. I'm seeing alot of hopeless love for Jerryd Bayless. He's a top 5 player and I don't see him slipping all the way to 15.

Why do we measure players from the top of their heads? There should be two measurements, the height and length. Length should  be determined by wingspan and height should be measured as the distance between the ground and the top of the shoulders.

Augustin is closer to 5'10" than he is the 6'0" that he's listed at. And his wingspan is nothing that will compensate for his lack of height. I don't care how talented a player is, they aren't going to be an effective defender in the NBA with those dimensions. Because of that I don't think he can expect to start for a team realistically looking to win a title. At #15 he might be a good pickup, but I think scouts are too high on him right now. He has great offensive capability but I don't feel it's enough to make up for his lack of size. Time will tell, though.

I have kept a running list of top college prospects throughout the year, and the last time I did a projection of each college player's long-term NBA potential, which was back in early April, I had Augustin in the mid 20s. I won't pretend to be an expert, just a fan who occasionally has too much time on his hands. I would trust what professionals are saying more than what I am, but at the same time I wouldn't be surprised if Augustin slips further than most expect.

No way should the Suns draft Donte Greene, he doesn't play defense. Since that is what you're looking for.

Yeah MikesYr I'm not to familiar with Greene. I read on a website that he was a good post defender.

I'll listen to a fan before a website.....

Brandon Rush wouldn't be too bad of a pick. He can score well off the bench and being on a high-scoring team like the Suns can only help him get better. He has a great wingspan and is very underrated defensively. He can also pass and rebound nicely as well. That's not the Jayhawk homer in me, that's truly who I think could help your Suns.

No way that was homerism. I like to scout the competition in the Big12 and i've seen plenty of Kansas games to know that your comments on Brandon Rush are spot on. He would kill Texas with his length and 3pt shooting. Watching him and CDR go at it in the title game was one of the better matchups in the tourney, because both are long and bigger than the average for a two guard (Rush will probably play the 3 in the NBA, but who knows?)

Don't believe anything that website tells you then, he also lacks toughness and he can't go inside on his offense. He's a very selfish player and all he does it jack up threes the entire game. He should have stayed at Syracuse but something tells me that he's flunking out of school.
