hey LK, thanks for the invite
Celtics - Cavaliers - wow that was ugly ball, not just tough defense, but ugly ball!! too many turnovers, bad shot selection and bad transition ball... If Paul Pierce, Ray Allen and LeBron James don't play better as a group, tonight's game won't be any different and people will say it's awful ball... i am not saying it is awful, but i would love to see more offense from the big 3 and the ONE... that said, the chess match is very exciting to watch as we watch two very good coaches battle possession by possession and as we saw, ONE possession changed the entire complexion of the game. Kevin Garnett is the force!! the series hinges on Delonte West and whether he can play at the level the Cavs need to consistently work the ball inside... Rajon Rondo showed his youth, but i suspect he will survive this and we shall see him play much more relaxed...
Lakers - Jazz - Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol are just too much for this Jazz team to handle... Deron Williams and Carlos Boozer are out matched and out played. this one is over in 5 as the Jazz will win 1 at home...
Pistons - Magic - nice to see the Magic wake up, but i suspect the loss of Chauncey Billups will be the X-Factor in this series.. without Billups, the Pistons looked a bit lost and i think they will have to have him playing to win. Dwight Howard is a total beast and outplayed every Piston who guarded him.. Rasheed Wallace looked frustrated and Rashard Lewis looked good hitting critical shots to turn the mojo around... i think this one will be Magic in 7 if Chauncey doesn't return, Pistons in 6 if he does.
Spurs - Hornets - Tim Duncan looks old and tired and is being outplayed by Tyson Chandler and David West and Tony Parker is being embarrassed by Chris Paul... if the Spurs don't win tonight, this one is done in 4. i will say Hornets in 5 as i don't think the Spurs will lose 2 at home in a row...
