I can't remember both semi finals in the NHL that I have looked as forward as these matchups.  With that said, and maybe I'm nit picking, why the heck is the Pens-Flyers not starting on Wed?  The NHL has all of this momentum and they elect to have 3 days of no hockey.  Bummer.  Have to wait a couple of more days.

Even as a lifetime Flyer Fan, I have to give it up to the BEST player in Pittsburgh...sorry NHL, you should market everything you have on Malkin, he is the secret weapon on this team.  As ridiculous as it sounds because he is a lock for future HOF, but in the shadow of Crosby, he quietly does more for his team game in and game out.

Agreed about Malkin. But in Pittsburgh he will always be seen as second to Crosby, so I believe he will move on for the money and to be the number one guy somewhere else. So, the Pens better do it this year.    GO FLYERS!!!!!

I have to agree, in my opinion Malkin is better than Crosby, but both are incredable.

Typical Bettman move.  Just as hockey is starting to get some life with 2 great conference finals set up, it goes away for a week.  What a waste.  Both of these series should be worth the wait though.  Can't wait to see the Flyers wear the Pens out.

It is to give Versus two games on the weekend. Starting Thur. and Fri. they come back Sat. and Sun. I was only able to watch the 3rd period of the two Penguin games on the past two Sundays. They were pre-empted by baseball. I had to go to Pittsburgh to watch games 3 & 4 of the Ottawa series because they were only on local TV. Hopefully, hockey will become popular enough to get more respect from the networks  than an occasional game from NBC and Versus during the season and show every round of the playoffs nationaly and  in it's entirety. I'm afraid it won't happen in my lifetime.
