Something smells.. and it isn't Shark carcas. These "brilliant" officials decided to take away the goal off of Morrow's skate even after watching the replay. I was absolutely astounded! As I understnd the rule it says DELIBERATE KICKING MOTION.  There was no way an honest judge could have ruled that a deliberate kicking motion. Apparently, the idea of the Stars holding a 3-0 lead wasnt in the officials script for this game though. I will concede Morrow's second goal was  last touched by his glove, however, that massive cross check from behind might have had something to do with it going into  the net when he was violently propelled forward while trying to set it on the ice.

The officials have undoubtedly been given the direction to extend the series and give San Jose the advantage they need to appear competitve when clearly they aren't.

God, if I have to hear these Versus commentators twisting any more facts while the Stars are being robbed, I will puke. Please get the WINGS-STARS series to ESPN and some relatively unbiased commentators. AND PLEASE no more shots of Roenick's chiseled mug gazing purposefully from the bench like Kirk Douglas playing Spartacus,  gazing out across the battle plain as his underdog army defeats a superior Roman force. They must have isolated on him 5 times. How nauseating is THAT?

Let's bury San Jose, their commentators, their fans hopes, and these biased and shameless officials in game six. I'd say a 5-0 thrashing ought to do the trick.

I agree that Morrow's goal disallowed was absolutely hideous...one of the worst calls by replay officials I've ever seen, but the simple fact of it all is that the Stars still had a 2-0 lead entering the 3rd period.  The Stars should be ashamed for not putting the Sharks away with any killer instinct.  The officials didn't lose the game for the Stars...the Stars lost the game themselves...and if you asked each and every player on that team they would tell you that.  A Stanley Cup contender puts teams away in that situtation.  The Stars did not.  I still think they'll win the series, but we need to start pumping the brakes a little bit on winning the Cup.

You are an Idiot.  The point should be that no way an hosest hockey fan would want to see goals allowed in the manner you claim were "legal goals"  If the Sharks had kicked one in like that and it was allowed you would be making the claims that the fix is in.  How about the camera on Modano all the time?  Seems like he gets equal time.  Face it, if a team has a future first time ballot hall of famer on the team they are going to get some camera time.   Get a life and stop whining and learn the game.
