Two things in this article bothered me:

  1. It sounds like coach Christian's wife finds out from his secretary that he accepted the TCU job.
  2. After the introductory press conference, he didn't even bother to walk his wife into the airport.  He dropped her at the curb.

He might want to remember he has a family before he ends up divorced.

I'm sure they didn't put those quotes in there to evoke a response...considering the entire point of the article was to make you feel sorry for the family despite their potential to be millionaires in 2 years of coaching at TCU.

No, it wasn't. Parrish even said he is NOT trying to make you feel sorry for them. Some of you need to read before you criticize. Parrish was only trying to show the less glamorous side of the life of a college coach. To that, I say, good work, Gary.
