I think it's great that they are trying to add Adam Jones to their team. It shows just how low class Jerry Jones is. Do you mean to tell me that there is not another single player out there that can do just as good a job as Adam Jones? Give me a break. The guy has been out of football for a year, so who knows what type of shape he's in.  The Las Vegas incident will, I repeat, WILL come back to bite him in the arse. Way to go Cowboys...

I would much rather win/lose with class, than with criminals and thugs anyday of the week.  When Tony Romo ruins another Playoff game, are you guys going to go after Quincy Carter again? Maybe Vick will be out of jail by then...

Bigdom-

"Win/Lose with class"???

Will you feel the same way if your Redskins sign DeAngelo Hall, as is rumored to be under discussion (http://www.hogshaven.com/story/2008/2/24/19189/6853)

How about Chad Johnson? (http://sports.aol.com/fanhouse/2008/02/12/redskins-interested-in-chad-johnson/)

Or your history with Jeff George, Sean Taylor (rest his soul, but he wasn't exactly a model citizen before his death),

And "win/lose with class"? you should shorten that to "/lose with class. "

Granted, when the 'Skins make it to the playoffs, they might win one, but check your history- appearances in '99 and '05 seasons since your last Super Bowl in '91 season. It seems to me that Dallas has 3 Super Bowl rings ('92, '93, '95 seasons) and six other playoff appearances ('94, '96, '00, '03, '06, '07) in the same time period. Difference is that Cowboys fail when they don't win a Super Bowl, Redskins fail when they don't break .500.

Wake up Moose Dog ... your link is from two and a half months ago. DeAngelo Hall signed with the Raiders and as far as I know the only incidents he has ever been involved in is an attack by his dogs on another dog and he wasn't even cited. I'm not sure where you thought you were going with this. I suppose your reference is to his "no class" persona? Anyway, it's hard to take anything you wrote after the above statement with more than a grain of salt.

Peace ... Rog

badsnap-

Shouldn't have been too tough to figure out my point when I mention the "win with class" part several times in the post. But in case you missed it, the point is that other teams are chasing the so-called "bad apples" too, but it only makes news if it's the Cowboys or a HUGE player like Randy Moss in New England.

As for waking up.... DeAngelo's rep is that he is a problem in the locker room- try Googling "DeAngelo Hall cancer" and see how many hits come up. The Cowboys have a track record of redeeming troubled (for lack of better all-encompassing term) players, while the Raiders have a history of Randy Moss.

I only picked on the Redskins because of the poster I was responding to- had he been a Raiders fan, I would have had more to go on. Not surprised that I hadn't heard the news of DeAngelo Hall signing with the Raiders, though- signing the bad apples is no longer news there...

Slick..... dude.....

Sounds from your profile like you are from ATL and living in Dallas. I was born in Atlanta (Decatur) and started as a Falcons fan when Dad took me to a game way back when. By the time I was five years old, I figured out that the Falcons were not for me. I adopted the Cowboys as a favorite because of Staubach and such (no Pro team in NC, where I lived then).

I then had the HONOR of moving to Dallas (Mesquite/Garland/Richardson area) and my dreams came true with all the Super Bowl wins with Aikman/Smith/Irvin.

So don't be scared... be assimilated.. Join us in our love of the Cowboys....

You'll find that you aren't so bitter when you're looking DOWN on the league rather than up at them.

Moose Dog - your points are all well taken. And thanks for being civil. After re-reading my post I can see it was a bit combative ... my bad.

In a thread that seems based on criminal activity I guess I just jumped all over the difference between having a bad attitude and having a history with the law. Add to that the fact that I am an NFL junkie and follow it 24/7 - 365 so I have a hard time believing that everyone didn't already know about DeAngelo Hall and the Raiders.

Peace ... Rog

badsnap-

I got nothing but love for ya baby....

but I'd still like to invite you to jump on our bandwagon, too.....

Don't sweat the combative stuff- it's all just trash-talkin' anyway, just like mine, and taken all in fun- hope it's received that way, as well.
