Arenas has the option to become a free agent this summer, if he does opts out, I think we should sign him because he is instant offense and with him, Martin, and Artest if he stays, we can become an instant playoff team and might even a contender in the West, what you guys think?

I like your thinking, but there are some variables with Gilbert Arenas is he comes to sacramento:

1. We get yet another scorer in our arsenal that will help us out drastically
2. With Gilbert Arenas, you get his ego, his crazyness, and his will to score more then anyone else on the court
3. Because of his will, he is someone who has to constantly dominate the ball to be happy, and we already have that in Ron Artest and to a lesser extent, John Salmons.
4. With an ego as large as Arenas', will he want to come to a smaller franchise?
5. We get our "championship-caliber" point guard.

But wouldn't the starting lineup make you just think championship and just think if we got a well established big man the line up could be

PG: Gilbert Arenas

SG: Kevin Martin

SF: Ron Artest

PF: Mikki Moore/Spencer Hawes/Free Agent/Draft Pick

C:Draft Pick/Spencer Hawes/Free Agent

I am not sold on agent 0 bc of all his injuries. It will take a lot of $$ to get him and if he is on the bench it will be wasted. Also, I think the Kings need to decide on who to keep Ron Artest or John Salmonds bc they don't play well together at all. I personally like Artest, bc of his defense, but would like to have some chemistry out there on the court.

After watching the 1st 2 games of the Cavs vs Wizards I wouldnt make any trades he is all about himself. The wizards are better off without him in the line up this year and if they have any chance to get back into the series they should just sit Agent Stinko! Now I now they will not do it but they should.

I like the team we have and they all played hard last year and as long as they can stay healthy they will make the playoffs next season.

GO Kings!

It will be harder to make the playoffs next year. Portland with Greg Oden and more experienced Brandon Roy/LaMarcus Aldridge, Golden State in the mix, Dallas, etc. I say we go for a full-blown rebuilding while there are many good teams, and we can take advantage of when Dallas/Phoenix/San Antonio/Denver sucks.
