Schultz to sue Bennett to get Sonics back

Good stuff Spencer (including the avatar!).  Although, I don't think there's a prayer this would hold up in court.  The thing I like about it is it's just another thing now to make that scumbag/liar/hillbilly Bennett lose sleep in the next few months leading to the trial in June......same goes for that SNAKE David Stern.  He's being made to look absolutely terrible in all of this now with the most recent being yesterday where he says "I haven't studied the letters" in the emails from the hillibilly's.......but it was Clay's intention to try and keep the team in Seattle I'm sure......WTF....wasn't David Stern a lawyer?  He won't look at evidence now, yet make comments?  So comical.  Maybe he just got sucked into Bennett when Bennett wrote him that he was one of his favorite people, blah, blah, blah....now, they're bed buddies.  Maybe Christine Gregiore needs to write Stern and tell him how nice his Johnson is and he can see the Seattle light in all of this.

Plus, hopefully it will make more of these other scumbags from OKC who come to a SEATTLE SUPERSONIC message board starting threads asking for new names for the OKC team to shut the F up for awhile.  I'm just loving all the obstacles and public relations nightmares Bennett/Stern and all thier buddies are facing over the last few weeks.  Hopefully now we can just sue thier asses, keep the team in Seattle for 2 more years and selling it back to Shultiz, who would sell it to Balmer, would look enticing to the scumbag/liar/hillbilly Bennett.

I think this is a bold, save your face move by Schultz, but it's also not something he's going to throw money at if he doesn't think he can't win.

I think the man has more intelligence than even trying to step foot in that arena much less most of the Seattle area. Wish he would give it a try....

U Double U - Schultz as much as I hate him for what he did to the team originally the man is business smart. I mean he got people to pay $4 for coffee so he has some smart people around him. They have a very legit shot at winning this one.

Oh happy days if this wins, Im sure you see Bennett sell the team if they have to hang around for two more years and Memphis ends up moving to OKC. Sucks for those in Memphis who have become attatched to the team but the Sonics are something almost all of us have grown up with since childhood.

I went to the Dallas game the other night and it was AMAZING!  The best part for the Sonics though might just have been the look on Mark Cuban's face when the fans gave Gary Payton a 5 MINUTE STANDING OVATION...it was the look of "what the f%$# are we doing sending this team to OKC?"

It's no different than a bunch of yahoos from Albequerque carpet-bagging the Sixers from Philly to New Mexico...it may sound good for a million reasons, but ultimately it lowers the value of the entire league.

If Schultz wins this thing, he gets the team back. It has nothing to do with Clay selling it.

I still blame him for lot's of this. I mean, he is the only person in Seattle that believed Clay wouldn't try and drag this team to OKC. It was the worst sale ever. He wanted to get rid of the team so fast, he overlooked so much of the obvious. I know for a fact that he called Clay because Clay was trying to buy the NO Hornets, and offered him the Sonics. He went to a sure thing buyer because he knew he could unload the team fast.

If Schultz gets the team back, he will sell it to Ballmer and those guys. It's a safe situation.
