It might be better that he Is goining on to the NBA draft.  I know he was our highest scorer this season but maybe if he goes than Both Ben McCauly and Brandon Costnor will start playing like they did the season before.  I don't know, what do you think?

Here is how I look at it, jj took touches away from costner and mccauley. I think they will be more productive next year. But here is another thing, what if costner wasnt as good as everybody thought, maybe once some real talent came in, he became just average. I hope not! And i dont think so! Fells better Ball next year

Go Wolpack

I don't think JJ will hurt us that bad.  Like you said Costner will step up if we have a PG.  He just can't seem to create on his own.  McCauley should be able to handle the post and we have a couple of bigs on the bench that should be better next year.  We need to worry about the backcourt.

JJ should stay for his own good and to help the program.. He cant do anything but get better. I dont know what happened to Costner.. I followed him all through high school and especially when he got to state.  Its like he plays better on the road, instead of at home??? He's never really been a great post player, but when he has confidence, he can hit that 12- 30 footer all day. You guys have some good recruits coming in and your bench isnt bad at all.. Too bad we didnt get to see them earlier in the season.. I really like the red head dude and there was another guy that came in too..(Sorry i cant remember their names..)  I think one of them is TRacy Smith???  He really looked decent during the last bit of the season. He could possibly take JJ spot, if he leaves.. If somehow Sidney could lure that kid from "Word of God", John Wall, then your point position would be solid and Gonzalez could go back to his original spot as a 2 man.. I hope you guys dont mind a tarheel putting his two cents in?? While we're supposed to hate each other, I respect your school and would really like to see you guys do well.

Go Heels

I agree with everything you said Brotha.  JJ does need to say to put more weight on and to work on his footwork around the basket.  He is good down low, but so many times he got called for walking/traveling.  It was also give him more time to learn how to look for his teammates when he is double or tripled teamed.

Costner, really had a sophomore slump.  i don't know what his problem was this season, but a season of struggles makes for an improving one the next, so I hope he turns it around.

Trevor and Tracy played great the last few games.  They were the only ones who seemed any desire to play hard.

We really do need to get John Wall.  He's a tremendous athlete and he could come right in and fill a major void that we have.

A PG/SG coming in this season should provide some relief for the moment.  Seems like Sidney is looking at a three guard system in the future.
