Did UCLA's defense miss the bus?

I agree with you 100% tigger. UCLA is letting Memphis control the flow of the game, and Memphis has had  too many easy shots. UCLA is lucky to only be down by 4.

UCLa is only down by 3 while allowing Memphis to dictate the pace.  Memphis has attempted 13 more shots than UCLA by dominating the offensive boards.  UCLA needs to box out better and not allow so many 2nd chances.  Look for Westbrook to guard Rose and UCLA work the inside and get the Memphis big guys in foul trouble.

Hey, Slammy, I may not be pulling for UCLA, but I love your avatar.  It's very ... cheerful.  Makes me think of the Golden Globes Award somehow.  Ouch ...!

Memphis can't let UCLA get in the half-court game and let Love power them down low...they need to keep pushing the ball up the court on O and pressure them at half court on D.

Because of Memphis' athleticism they are able to trap and still get back in defensive position.  If UCLA isn't able to adjust to the trap it's gonna get in UCLA's head.

i can't believe UCLA is this close. hopefully Calipari can get his team to refocus, because i don't see any way UCLA has played into a 3 point deficit. Memphis has been better at all aspects expect for the free throw disparity.

This has turned out to be a good fast paced game!

Are you kidding?  The pace is very slow; it's 36-30 for crying out loud.  Both teams look tired, and tight.  I see spotty defense on both ends, and hurried or tentative shots.

This is not unusual in a Final Four, with the pressure the way it is.  Most of these players probably slept 3 hours last night.

I agree with you 100% tigger. UCLA is letting Memphis control the flow of the game, and Memphis has had  too many easy shots. UCLA is lucky to only be down by 4.

What?  Memphis would love to have this game be much faster.  It is the slower team that can control the pace.  And that is certainly what UCLA has been doing, with small breakouts by Memphis.

The last comment is right on the money though; UCLA is absolutely lucky to be down by only 4.  Am I crazy, or do they look tired?
