Seriously, womens basketball is a lay-up drill exercise with an occasional shot from 16' going in between the other 20 misses.  Why not just watch the men warm up and you'll see the same thing with more 16 footers going through the hoop.

I'd rather watch 5 year olds playing tee ball.  Atleast there are occurances for the occasional laugh.  When a kid runs to third instead of first everyone enjoys it and you know its only a matter of time until it happens.  Same with the women, you know one of them is going to try a three pointer and throw up a brick.  The difference is, 5 year olds don't understand all the aspects of the game, the women think they do!!

First of all, how long has it been since you've actually watched women's basketball? Let me tell you, I watched the Stanford game the other day against Maryland, and Candice Wiggins hits shots, makes layups, makes free-throws, and does everything the men do besides dunk the ball. Reading your post just proves how ignorant you are to the realities of women's college basketball. Did you even read Freeman's Article? Before you go shooting your mouth off about how bad women's basketball is, make sure you understand what you're talking about.

You can't be serious. Even as someone who believes that the men's game is more exciting, I know that NCAA female basketball players are more skilled than 5-year tee ballers. The statements are over the top. I know you were trying to be funny, but you missed.

Watch a women's game and you'll see women who can shoot, dribble, pass, and play defense. The major issue in my opinion is that the game is too slow, not that they can't dunk.  Comparing a women's game to men's warm-up drills is a joke. First off, wouldn't more shts go in when no one is guarding you. I would hope that people make more baskets while warming-up than in a game. If you watch a women's game than you'll see that the defense is pretty good. They also don't just shoot lay-ups. Watch a game this wek-end and see what they do. There are some really good athletes in the girl's game.
