The way the announcers were talking last night it's almost a forgone conclusion that Koufos is one and done.  I really hope he sticks around for one more year because this team could be very good with him.  Without him, they may be looking at a chance to defend their NIT crown.....

I think Koufos will stay.  He has already turned down 2 million to play college ball.  His defense is not ready to play pro ball and the guy has got to get stronger hands and take it to the hole big man.  If on an outside chance he would go there is another 7 footer BJ Mullens coming.

The part I am worried about is a point guard.  What made tha team better at the end of the seaseon was a senior point guard in Butler.  Next years team will be younger than this years with No senior leadership.

I would predict that Koufos will be back.. and with Mullens coming in, Koufos could be a foward and Mullens could be a center (two 7 footers on the court at once).  The problem will be point gaurd play.  Evan Turner did well handling the ball with Butler in the NIT, but doesn't have the same shot as Butler did.  Our back pg (his name just slipped my mind) shot the ball like 3 times all season so I have no idea about him, but he hustles after the ball on bothsides, I always give credit to that.

Depending on the gaurd play and Lighty staying next year should be fun (that is if Koufos stays).

GO BUCKS!

I think he stays, but it wouldn't surprise me if he leaves. He was already offered money to play in Greece last year, and after being turned down I could see them upping the ante. Not sure if he'd be a first round pick in the NBA right now, even with his potential, although he could step in and be a Nowitzki type big man.

I hope he stays, we just don't have the big man depth to be able to lose him. Plus him and Mullins next year would be amazing.

It would be wise for Koufos to stay to keep on developing but if he's projected to be a mid to early first rounder he'll probably leave.  The man is pretty good.  He kind of reminds me of Dirk from the Mavs.  If he does leave best of luck in the pros.  The Buckeyes need a replacement for Butler.  Do they have any top tier point guards coming in next year?

Anthony Crater is  3 star PG who's coming in. Between him and Hill I think they'll have enough, just the scoring will likely have to come from the other 4 spots and the PG will have to have a more traditional role as leader and distributor.

Crater is one of the 10 best PG's in the country.  He's an excellent ball handler and a "pass first" PG, which is exactly what next year's team will need.  I don't see Hill playing as much as Crater once he gets acclimated.

Crater one of the 10 best PG's?  I have never seen that.  Rivals doesn't even have him in their top 35 PG's in the class of '08.  Let's hope he's better than Hill, he's a backup at best.

Crater is actually the #8 PG on scout... and being that he's from my home state (Michigan)... I've been following him for 3 years.  Reading articles, etc.  He's one of the 10 best in the country... trust me.

There are 49 other states.  I'm sure he's a good player, I just think it's a little hard for any of us to say if someone is a top 10 player or not.
