Your team page looks alot like Marshall's. I make commentaries on the Herd and Conference USA and get few replies all in hopes in building an active team page.  I actually wish CBS would create conference pages.

Anyway, just wanted to let you know that I know what is going on down in Tulsa.  Best two players are sophmores, you guys have a commitment from Armond Battle who is ranked #42 in Small Forwards by ESPN and a guy named Brandon Jackson who could be a very good Point Guard.  Mitchell looks like he could fill in for the loss of Walls.  This CBI tournament is giving your young players experience.

The conference is going to be 7 to 9 teams deep next year, with no less than 6 teams closing in on Memphis.  I assume Rose will go pro, but only Dorsey and Allen are seniors.  If Douglas-Roberts goes pro, I doubt Memphis goes undefeated through the conference next year.  Regardless, about 6 teams are really closing the gap on the Tigers.

Those being UAB, Tulsa, Marshall, UTEP, Houston, and UCF.  Tulane and Southern Miss could be in the mix and SMU has some really good recruits coming next year.

I hope C-USA shows it's strength in OOC play next year.  That's to only way to close the gap on the Power Conferences.  I'm convinced that C-USA was as good as the SEC this year.  We've now got teams that can compete with anyone in the nation game in, game out.

I remember Marshall from when they were in the Mid-American Conference.  You had some really good teams then, in basketball and especially in football.  I was sorry to see them leave.

Good luck to Tulsa, glad to see such a good report on ticket sales.  Its always nice to have a banner to hang.

I went to Marshall when we were in the Southern Conference (1980's).  Marshall won the Mid-America Football Championship the first five years after moving up from I-AA (that was the correct term back then).  That conference dominance forced the rest of the teams to improve and they did.  Whether or not most MAC fans will admit it, other football programs were elevated as a result of Marshall's presence.

Memphis is doing the same thing for C-USA basketball.  Whether or not it was recognized nationally, C-USA as a whole (not just Memphis) improved tremendously this past year and most teams, including Memphis are relatively young.  It was overshadowed by Memphis' dominance and the fact that they went from very good to great (with the exception of FT shooting).

Watch what happens in C-USA over the next two years.  BTW, Memphis fans, you currently the flag ship of the conference in basketball, but a good fit competition wise in the rest of the sports.  Be patient, basketball will catch up sooner than you think.  By "catch up" I mean you won't have to listen too much longer to people saying, "They're good, but they play in C-USA" much longer.  Besides, a National Championship will be the best way to shut them up this year.

I totally agree, i was hoping that C-usa could win all three tournaments but since there is no team in the nit final that can't happen. but two out of three tourneys going to cusa, that would be super.
