I don't care how good you are I cannot believe Curry shot as many low % shots as he did. He finished 9-25(36%). But with about 6 sec. remaining someone else on Davidson was WIDE open and could have easily gotten a layup had Curry not wanted to be a hero. PASS THE ROCK !!

Yet he practically single-handedly carried his team to the Elite Eight.  Not only that - but the final play was supposedly designed for Richards to take.  Either way, it broke down against a team that really had no position putting themselves in that situation in the first place; however, they found themselves there because of the striving efforts of Curry and Davidson.

That's not entirely true.  In Curry's interview he did admit that he intended to take the shot, but after faking, and realizing he didn't shake his double-team, he had to pass the ball to Richards.

I don't fault Curry for attempting the last shot, in fact, he should have been the one taking the last shot.  I have a problem with Curry taking the ball up the court, if he's trying to win the game.  If they were going for two, then let Curry take it from end to end to do whatever he can.  However, they were going for the win.  In that case, they should have had Richards take the ball up, and had Curry and the White Lobster come off screens for the last three point attempt.  At least then you would have a triple threat, with either the pass to Curry, the WL, or with Richard taking the last shot.  That's the better play.
