I think the Nets should keep Kiki Vandeweghe. He played a big role in the Kidd trade for Harris and I think with a big off-season coming for the Nets, he be great to have on board  for trades (maybe Carter?), free-agent signings and drafting. A good front office will help turn this thing around a lot sooner then later (look at the Knicks). Thorn and Kiki make a great combo and hope it continues.

The Nets should definitely keep Kiki!  He's a great GM in the making, and under Rod Thorn for a few formative years, Kiki will definitely be one of the best in the near future ... Especially if he remains in the Nets front office.  I can't wait to see what he and Thorn do in the off season  ... Trade VC, maybe, he's the big ticket right now.  I can see the Nets getting to look more like Denver, High Scoring, running a lot.  Fun to watch!

Kiki is a flat out genius. He traded away a disgruntled Kidd, for Harris, who will now be in a Net uniform for several years. Considering his talent and output, he could be a cheap superstar. Diop was also a big pick up. After he was traded, some big men from the West came out and publicly said he's too good defensively and they're glad he's gone, same with Harris (Deron Williams). If the Nets can make it to the finals, Diop could be the piece they need to beat a Lakers, or Suns.

Besides getting Diop and Harris, he also brought back Keith Van Horn!! Just kidding.

Unfortunately I doubt he'll be able to move Carter's contract, and being that Swift and Hassel will be overpaid next season, we won't be able to do too much this offseason besides resigning Diop, possibly Nachbar, and signing our draft picks, being that we'll only have approx. $10 million in free cap.

However I trust what Kiki and Thorn decide, and hopefully we can get Kiki to stick around after the draft.

Maybe the Nets read our post.
