To the duke fan who posted earlierthat tyler gets all the calls, he should look no further than his own team as far as that goes. WSU fans remember you are playing a team that is 34-2, not 16-16. True wsu plays great D but UNC is not chopped liver either. Do not think you are just going to stop UNC and that is it. I think a score of about 77-69 Unc would be about right, with us pulling away at the end after a tough game. We know how good WSU is but do not insult us and say you are going to shut us down no problem.

We must continue to believe in ourselves even though 20-point win over ND barely showed a 20-sec clip of highlights on the ESPN.

It is time to watch a 2-mins clip after beating UNC!!

Go Cougs!!!!!1

I've actually had the opportunity to see Wazzu play several times this season, and came away impressed everytime, Especially the California game. This should be a dream matchup for both teams, it's the life long debate, Offense Vs. Defense.

UNC is averaging 111 points a game through the first weekend, while Wazzu is allowing an average of 40 PPG throughout the first 2 games. I don't think we'll score 80+ against Wazzu, but I also know it won't be in the 50's. The fact is that UNC has not faced a defense this good all season, and Wazzu has not faced an offense this good all season.

I expect it to be a tight game throughout, I think it comes down to our bigs. If Thompson and Stephenson can step up like they have thus far, we'll be hard to beat. If they give sub-par performances, Carolina could easily be bounced by the Cougars. Either way, I'm looking forward to Thursday night, good luck to you guys.

"I don't think we'll score 80+ against Wazzu, but I also know it won't be in the 50's."

Agreed.  Of the teams that scored more than 75 points against the Cougs, UCLA shot 57% in an 81 point effort and Arizona shot 55% in a 76 point effort.  So.....this one will most likely be somewhere in the 70's.

"WSU fans remember you are playing a team that is 34-2, not 16-16."

Notre Dame was 25-7, including a 14-4 record in the Big East before their loss to WSU, so what's your point?  The Heels have been down to the wire against less talented teams than the Cougs.  Virginia Tech(20-13) played them to within 2 points in their own conference tourney only a week and a half ago, so if they can do it then I'm sure the Cougs could do it.
