oregon st is one of the most storied programs in college basketball history? OK, whatever you say. Yep, they rank right up there with UCLA, Duke, UNC, Kentucky, Kansas, and Arizona. I mean how many other schools can say they have zero national championships? Even Oregon has one and I wouldn't call Oregon's tradition storied. You just had the absolute worst season in the history of the Pac-10 and you want to go around tooting your storied tradition horn? Wait a second, is nonfatnowhip really Marcel Jones?
When did oregon st ever put 5 or 6 great seasons in a row? As I remember (and correct me if I'm wrong because I was still in elementary school) the beavers had three of their tourneys in the 80's vacated so they don't even count.
Oregon went into the toilet? They underachieved, but going into the toilet would be losing 21 games in a row and losing 19 conference games. You are not very smart, just so you know.
Look, I loved seeing the beavers go 0-19 in conference, but as a Duck fan its bitter sweet. Having an incompotent and completely useless traveling partner hurt us a great deal. Every Pac-10 team only had to prepare for one team the week they played the Oregon schools.
