Baylor is a very good team no matter what anyone says.
It is unfortunate that it took a 5 ot win to wake people up about you guys.
Im an arkansas fan so whenever someone says that we havnt beat anybody i will say say @ baylor because you guys are a very good team.
You have won @ wichita st, @ notre dame, @ wintrhop, all in the turney last year, and now @ texas a&m, your only 2 losses were to arkansas, and a 3 point loss to washington st on the road that could have went either way.
This is a great rebound from that mess that happened a few years ago with the murder.
Im rooting for baylor to do well this year.
Good Luck the rest of the year.

Baylor never beat Notre Dame on the road they have a 30 game home streak, but yes Baylor is very underrated and could be the only team that has a chance to beat Kansas besides Texas. Their very young and their future looks great.

I absolutely agree with you. I am a huge fan of college basketball and i watched half of their games upfront and live and their looking like a sweet 16 team.

Sweet 16 - That is a joke. If a&m rematched them right now a&m wins but I guess we'll have to wait till next time they play. Baylor will make the tourny but will be 1 and done. Maybe next year...

wow, here's a few points to what you've said Chris...
1) a 5OT win to a (at the time) confused, depleted, and struggling Texas A&M team is very far from a noble/hard fought/good win... if you think that game was a show of how your team is so much better than A&M, you are very sorely mistaken my friend...
2) when did A&M play UTEP this year... let me remember... oh yeah, WE DIDN'T... so that little attempt at insult is irrelevant... and you DEFINITELY can not use that loss as a reason A&M shouldn't be ranked this year... give me a break
now, to the reason i came to post on this thread...
I really believe Baylor is playing very well, with a lot of intensity... but underrated?? i don't think so... they won't be able to take Kansas, and whoever said that Texas and Baylor were the only ones that could take Kansas is delusional... Baylor can't take them and A&M or Kansas State can... (all of which have proven it)
the aggies won't lose to Baylor again, and Baylor is not going to make it far in the NCAA Tourney... but just getting there with the intensity that they have this year is a much better improvement, am i right?

1) That's ridiculous. Watch Sportscenter. Or, if you have some big grudge against ESPN, how about the fact that ANY 5OT game is a hard fought win? Not to mention Baylor has 5 less players than the Aggies. A&M has been inconsistent this year with their play, and the Big 12 is a tough tough conference. But Baylor took them, fair and square, away from home. It won't be easy for the Aggies to take down the Bears at home. The Ferrell Center is a tough place to play (as UT fans found out when the Bears almost beat them).
The Aggies have lost to Texas Tech (by 15), Kansas St (by 21), and Texas (by 27), all on the road. At home, the Aggies have beaten Texas and Oklahoma, but lost to OSU and Nebraska. Their real tests are the games at Baylor and Kansas at home.
Baylor is the real deal. Our lack of big men that can put up numbers is made up for by the shooting of our guards (although Kevin Rogers can hold his own on the floor). Curtis Jerrells is going to lead this team to the tourney (anyone who can sink a 3 over Michael Beasley with 2 seconds on the shot clock has the talent). Depending on our seed (which will come from Big 12 Tourney outcome), we could make it to the Sweet 16 if we get lucky.
Just making the tournament is a big step for the Bears, considering our program was almost eliminated 6 years ago. Next year we will definitely be a significant threat, seeing as we only lose Bruce and Shepherd, and Scott Drew is predicted to have another Top 25 recruiting class this year.

hard fought... okay, i'll agree... a 5OT win is hard fought... but what i meant was that if a game goes into 5OT, doesn't that mean the teams are equal in strength?? i dont think you can claim that one team is better when they win it in 5OT... come on... 5OT??... i'd never seen anything like that in my life
most of us aggie fans (at least myself) have quickly learned that our team is indeed overhyped... it's disappointing too... cause we have the skill to play at the big gun's level... but we lack the intensity, heart, bla bla bla... all the aggie fans have said this a million times... it makes me sicker every time i hear it
Baylor in the Sweet 16?? sorry, i don't think so...
TAMU in the NCAA Tournament?? ha ha... who knows
Oh yeah... The Baylor game?? i would try to predict the score... but what's the use... at this point it's just a needle in the haystack, cause there is NO way to tell how the Aggies are gonna be playin tomorrow night
good luck and Gig 'em anyways

Baylor probably wont make the sweet 16 just because they may have to play a 1 seed in the second round...
That said, Baylor is a far better team than A&M...
Here is a nice fact for you, Baylor has not lost to any team, ANY TEAM by more than ten points, that includes games at Texas, at Kansas, at Oklahoma...
They will handle A&M tomorrow night, and if they can escape being a 8,9 seed, they may make the sweet 16
A&M will not and does not deserve to make the tournament...
Good game against OU the other day...
