since i graduated and all i want to see is them at least make the conference tourney championship game on ESPN.  Is that so much to ask?  I think they've been division one now for 24 years and still not even a sniff.  pathetic.

You might get it this year. The Hawks are a threat.

Yes, I see that, and the conference is pretty weak.  The loss to Vermont last week hurt and showed they can still be dominated.  Pretty good game for Metuchen's own Marques Blakely...he is a force as a Soph up at Vermont.  I should have sent stronger recruiting letters to the UHA staff two years ago!

Your wish has come true.  Hopefully, the first NCAA bid is also right around the corner!

Rockface,

With all due respect, UMBC is gonna dash your hopes bud! I feel for you though - 22 years as a DIV I school and UMBC hasn't done a thing.  No offense, but this year belongs to the Retrievers.

Your team, however, still might qualify for the NIT after Saturday's thumping - I'll be pulling for your team to win the NIT. You guys had a great run though - see your squad at the RAC.

Tom:

I like your confidence.

I don't really care, honestly.  I'm just finally happy they get some National attention.  But at the same time, at 12pm on Saturday I will be sitting in a hotel bar in Virginia watching ESPN2.  Kicking back, watching the Hawks stomp your retrievers.

This is OUR year, pal.

So, lets see, we have two D1 teams who haven't been to the dance, let alone win a conference championship in 20 years. I feel for UMBC and my own Hawks. Tom, good luck, but Rockface is right, this is the Hawks year - finally.

Besides, you guys have lacrosse to look forward to.

Just wanted to spread the word on this site, it gives you 10 cents to start off with and you can cash out if you make it over 10 dollars. Its free and pretty cool if you are new to sports betting like me. Copy and paste this link.

Seriously, if you like to bet its a sweet site.  Everybody that checks it out thinks it's brilliant.
