Considering he is one of our better pitching prospects, Why has Brian Bullington not pitched?  Is there some sort of master plan that Russell is working on?  His arm strength has to be suffering from not pitching in a game for a couple of weeks.  Can someone shed some light on this for me?

Brian Bullington had been brought up because we need fresh arms in the bullpen.  Between the terrible starting pitching and numerous extra inning games, the bullpen had been depleted.  Suddenly, the starting pitching has been better, if not great, and we haven't had to use the bullpen as much.

Yeah.  He sucks. He was a wasted draft pick.  He's no better than duke or maholm.

He is no longer riding the pine in Pit but is on his way back to indy.

This frees up a spot on the 25 man roster for the interleague games.  Neil Walker, Andrew McCutcheon?  Pearce has struggled mightily, so probably not him.

EmJay? Jalcorn?  What do you guys think?

BR, I made a similar comment yetserday about taking a risk with 11 pitchers for the 6 games in AL parks. Pearce would make the most sense since he is already on the 40-man. Walker or McCutchen would require NH to let a player go through waivers, I don't think he'll do that for 6 games of help. The PG reports that Salas will be brought back up instead of a bat.

All indications are that it is Salas.  BR91 you bring up a great point though.  If the pirate starter continue to play well, why not bring up a batter and go with 6 in the pen.....

What exactly makes you say this.  Bullington hasn't pitched yet.  Also I think Duke and Maholm are decent pitchers.  They both have times when they are terrible, but when they are good they are usually pretty good you idiot.  None of those pitchers suck they are in the majors and they are that bad in the majors either.
